This episode takes us right back to the basics of fishing. Milan has a good look at the food chain, from right up the back of the mangroves and out to the low tide mark in the harbour. While walking the mangroves and reading the signs of fish, Milan explains why big snapper bother to venture right up shallow on the incoming tides.
To proof his theory is correct, he and Nathan go for a landbased fish, standing in knee-deep water, catching some great snapper -and loosing some, as usual...
Gear Used on the Show
Bullet tuna are especially imported by TopCatch and ideal for straylining for snapper in a berley trail.
It is crucial to wear lifejackets, even when landbased fishing. Fact is that most boaties die within 200m of the shore and are not wearing lifejackets! Check out our Baltic Lifejackets in our online shop.
