Lubin is our Australian of the team. Living in the dry land of South Australia, he travels far and wide in search of the best fishing his country has to offer.
Growing up near the mighty Murray River, where Lubin has spent more than half his life, his passion for chasing the Australia’s largest freshwater fish, the elusive Murray cod and has gained him quite a reputation.
Lubin is an electrician by trade, working with the Family business in the Barossa Valley for the past 16 years. Along with his Electrical duties has worked as a fishing writer for most national Australian magazines for the last decade.
He has a great love of chasing all manner of big shallow saltwater fish, particularly large kingfish and snapper on lures in his home state waters. Lubin is also a successful competition fly fisher, representing Australia in five international competitions, including two world championships and a gold medal winning Oceania team.
